Amy Rosenberg is founder and president of Veracity, a PR firm based in Portland, Ore. Established in 2008, Veracity specializes in B2B, SEO and e-commerce related PR, along with spearheading corporate responsibility initiatives. Amy created her podcast, PR Talk, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (Oregon), in 2017 and has hosted more than 100 episodes so that PR people can better learn the craft. Her first book, “A Modern Guide to Public Relations,” was released in 2021 as a companion resource to the podcast, with a video series to further explain the content of her book.

Amy Rosenberg learned PR in the trenches — working her way up from intern to management at two marketing agencies before starting her own PR firm, Veracity, in 2008. Amazingly, Amy is still married to the business partner (Mike Rosenberg) that joined her firm in 2011. They reside in Portland, Oregon with their two school-aged children (Ben and Audrey), dog (Rio) and cat (Roar).

Driven by her desire to help people develop their PR and marketing skills, Amy wrote A Modern Guide to Public Relations, an insightful book that challenges the PR Industry to rethink its approach to the craft. What started as a training manual for her staff evolved into a book. This detailed, honest account of working in PR serves as a guide for both new professionals or for those looking to make a career change. Unique themes are thread throughout the book that is part memoir, part how-to.
